New Patients: What to Expect

At Cardinal Chiropractic, our goal is to relieve your symptoms as quickly as possible, in as few visits is necessary. We also work to make corrections that can help prevent future flare-ups.

Before your first exam, you will be required to complete forms that provide information about your symptoms and condition. If preferred, you may obtain our intake form here, to be completed in the comfort of your own home or office. Please bring the completed forms with you to your first office visit.

The Chiropractic Exam

The complete initial examination will include an overall wellness assessment and specific orthopedic and neurological tests to assess posture, range of motion, muscle tone, muscle strength, and neurological integrity. The first exam may also consist of a request for x-rays, MRI, or other laboratory tests.

Once your diagnosis has been established, Dr. Cardinal will determine how your condition may respond to chiropractic treatment. You will be provided with an individualized chiropractic treatment plan (or other treatment recommendations), the anticipated length of care, and mutually agreed-upon goals to help determine the successful result of your treatment.
